Find good books to read.
Feed your mind by reading what you think will be helpful to you. Get opinions from people you respect. This allows you to choose what you digest. And don’t forget only use it if it is helpful. I read books about photography, birds, entrepreneurship, billiards and anything that peeks my interest. During recent times because of the political environment and Covid-19, I find myself researching the history of the United States. I guess this is an effort to understand “How did we get where we are today?”.
(These are some of my favorites)
- 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey
- The monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma
- Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
If books are not your thing, follow successful or like minded (or not) people that you respect. Remember here you always have to research what people are saying. Also separate yourself from negative thinking people. Unfriend them if you must. I think it is sometimes useful to pay attention to what people are saying, who see things differently.
